Skiing at 115 kilometers an hour «without seeing almost nothing»
Ski accidents have increased by 15% compared to previous seasons.

Accidents up 15%
This is explained by Alto Adige, who interviewed L’OTODI (Italian orthopedic hospital traumatologists).

In particular, 40% of accidents involve distortions, 27% contusions, 12% fractures and 21% dislocations and head trauma.

The age range between 30 and 50 is the most affected (numbers that go down to 15-30 years for snowboarders) and 65% of accidents concern men, 35% women. If among the skiers the most affected arts are the lower ones, for those who are snowboarding the traumas in the upper limbs are greater.
