Romantic snow in Val di Sole, from excursions with horse-drawn sleighs to the ancient Pejo thermal baths

There are many proposals put in place in Val di Sole for couples who decide to spend a few days together in peace

From the walks in the natural parks with snowshoes to the feet, the rides on horse-drawn sleighs to “cuddle” in the spas and wellness centers of the shelters on the slopes.

There are many proposals put in place in Val di Sole for couples who decide to spend a few days together in peace.

For the more sporty there are night excursions with snowshoes in the moonlight and illuminated by frontal torches. Every week the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park and the Stelvio National Park, Trentino sector, organize suggestive walks with the Alpine Guides. An experience of immersion in the wild nature, discovering winter, which ends with a toast in the cabin and a nice cup of hot tea or mulled wine.

For a little more romanticism, here are the horse-drawn sleighs with which to cross fascinating landscapes between pastures and woods. The tours, organized by the Alpine Riding Center in Pellizzano, last one hour and can be booked both day and after sunset, in the light of the torches. The highlight is the visit to the late-medieval and renaissance church of Santa Maria di Pellizzano, an enchanted place where time seems to have stopped.

For those who decide to focus only on relaxation in the Val di Sole are different structures directly on the slopes that allow you to live a pure wellness experience. In Val Mastellina, at 2,045 meters above sea level, the Solander Refuge is equipped with a whirlpool, Turkish bath, Finnish sauna and infrared sauna to be alternated with the relaxation area. In Malghet Aut di Folgarida, at the Chalet degli Angeli, at 1,891 meters above sea level, there is a sauna, a Turkish bath, a whirlpool bath, Kneipp and a revitalizing path, to be combined with the excellent cuisine. On Mount Vigo, at an altitude of 2,200 meters, the Rifugio Bruno Brown offers a new relaxation area for guests “veterans” from the ski slopes: an environment dedicated to comfort, between colored and soft lights, classical music and jazz accompanying sauna, Jacuzzi or jacuzzi with panoramic sunset views. At more than 2,700 meters of altitude, finally, here is the New Paradise Hut, reachable with the Paradise cableway leading to the Presena glacier, above the Tonale Pass: a chalet with an “alpine chic” style that offers high-altitude pampering in its wellness center, where you can rely on the expert hands of masseurs and beauticians.

There are also the ancient Terme di Pejo, which exploit the beneficial properties of the three different mineral springs of the town.
